Service Description

Course Style - 2-day Live Virtual Instructor-led or Face-to-face Course summary: Change Management is associated with the effects and management of change; this is a high priority for all organisations, as managing change is important to facilitate successful project implementation. The purpose of the Change Management Foundation certification is to confirm that a candidate has sufficient knowledge and understanding of Change Management to work as an informal member of a team working on an organisational change initiative. The Foundation certification is also a pre-requisite for the APMG Change Management Practitioner certification. Learning Synopsis: • The Change Management Context. • Learning and the individual. • Change and the individual. • Change and the organisation – Part 1. • Change and the organisation – Part 2. • Stakeholder engagement. • Communication and Engagement. • Change Impact. • Change readiness. At the end of the course you will take a one-hour multiple-choice exam, which leads to the Change Management Foundation certificate. The Learning outcomes: • An understanding of factors surrounding people’s reaction to change and the necessary tools and techniques to help people deal more effectively with change. • The ability to identify the various types of change affecting organisations, and the Best Practice to support the effective delivery of the organisation’s desired end results. • The tools to assess the impacts of change, to identify and address resistance to change. Who is this course for? There are no pre-requisites for the foundation level of APMG International Change Management™ course. The qualification is aimed at anyone involved in change at any level within an organisation, including; • Change leaders (e.g. Senior Responsible Owners.) • Change Managers. • Portfolio Managers. • Organisational Development Managers. • Change ‘agents’ (e.g. Business Change Managers.) • Change implementers (e.g. Programme / Project Managers.) • Change support (e.g. Programme / Project Office) and Operational • Line Managers / Staff. • Senior Management. Exam Format: • 50 multiple-choice questions • 25 marks required to pass (out of 50 available) - 50% • 40 minutes' duration • closed-book exam, no material allowed.
