3-day classroom-based or virtual instructor-led via ZOOM Software is everywhere, and it is a fundamental part of our World. We need to test everything we produce because things can go wrong, and humans can make mistakes at any time. Human errors can cause a defect or failure at any stage of the software development lifecycle. The results can be trivial or even catastrophic, depending on the consequences of the error. Software Testing is a process used to check whether the actual software product meets expected requirements and ensures that the software product is free of errors and bugs. In addition, it allows individuals to identify the mistakes, gaps or missing needs in contrast to actual conditions. Course Syllabus • Use a common language for efficient and effective communication with other testers and project stakeholders • Understand established testing concepts, the fundamental test process, test approaches, and principles to support test objectives • Design and prioritise tests by using established techniques • Analyse both functional and non-functional specifications (such as performance and usability) at all test levels for systems with low to medium levels of complexity • Execute tests according to agreed test plans, and analyse/report on the results of tests • Write clear and understandable incident reports, etc. Who Should Attend Our ISTQB® Foundation training course is principally aimed at anyone directly involved in software testing, who needs to demonstrate practical knowledge of the fundamental concepts, such as testers, test analysts, test engineers, test leads, test consultants, test managers, user acceptance testers and software developers. It is also ideal for all those who have an interest in understanding the basic concepts of software testing, and so is additionally appropriate for project managers, quality managers, software development managers, business analysts, IT directors and management consultants. What's Included • Full Course Materials • ISTQB® Foundation Exam Examination: • Duration: 60 minutes (40 multiple choice questions). • Format: ‘Closed book’ i.e. no notes or books will be allowed. • Pass mark: 65% (26 out of 40).
